A Fine Day for Photo Shooting

Assignments was given on the first lesson of photography class, entitled texture.
We were required to shoot under natural lighting, and no post processing.
Well, it is not that hard for ND100 to shoot under sunlight, the hard part is the ideas and concept.

All shots were taken under natural lighting with 50mm prime with aperture open up to f1.8.
These two shots were the best among my submitted assignments.
(above) Egg tray, maybe I should throw an egg on it before shooting.

I was told that always make your shots interesting by adding something on it, example like insects, leaves, animals...
So I added two leaves in my picture.
(above) Metal platform, yellow and blue is always so contrast.

This shot is not about texture. I found out shots like this can be quite interesting.
Picture taken while I was doing my photography assignments.

(above) I wanted a special effects, a sphere like effect on the edge.

ND100 is good, especially on outdoor, and with a combination of 50mm.

New Subject New Medium

First week of new semester.
Thought of new week has no homework, in fact, there is a lot of work to do...
New subject means new medium to learn, arcrylic and digital painting.
Let's talk about digital painting here.

Marker Visual.
At first, I thought there is nothing to do at the first class, a bit intro, a bit of lecturing, go home.
But, the lecturer ask us to paint, "Get your Wacom and draw."
He didn't even tell us how to do. "Just paint."
I am glad I got do a little practice on how to paint digitally.
(above) People always paint still life apple and orange at their first lesson.

Light and Mood Study.
We paint digitally again in this subject.
Study the light and mood and "Paint like Impressionist."
(above) I am Benz, Mercedes Benz.

80% satisfaction for my work, I just need a little bit more time to render.
Benefits of digital painting, fast, convenient, can undo, recycle...
If you want to learn more about digital painting, buy Imagine FX, although it is expensive.
Another ways is download tutorials from internet.

Castlevania

Long long time ago...... in a castle far far away...... there live a dark lord...... he called......
THE DRACULA

Dracula in castle, CASTLEVANIA. (Bat flies......)

(above) Moon and castle, every Castlevania opening scene.

Currently got addicted on playing Castlevania series.
Castlevania is basically about the adventure of good guy inside Dracula's castle, stopping the Draculla wil be his/her primary goal.

My first contact with Castlevania was 5 or 6 years ago, it was Castlevania Adventure on GBC.
It was fun, a man with a whip, whacking all sorts of evil beings...
I didn't finish the game as the progress cannot be saved.

(above) Classic GBC Castlevania.

(above) Christopher Belmont in action.

Many years later, I found out that Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow was one of the best GBA game.
I downloaded the game, and the others Castlevania series.
The original Castlavania is about the fight betwen Dracula and the Belmont clan.
However, I didn't really know their story.
My first story on Castlevania is Soma's, not Belmonts.

(above) Death, eppears on every Castlevania series.

Castlevania: AOS is good, but I did not really finish this title.

(above) Here comes Soma, he did not pray in the chapel.

If you really want to know the story of Castlevania series, go play the game.

(above) Hot Succubus, becareful her deadly kiss.

A few weeks ago, I downloaded a new Castlevania title, Dawn of Sorrow, the continuous series of AOS.
The feeling of playing on NDS is diferent, however, it is fun too.

(above) Soma showdown, no, he is going down!!!

(above) Claimh Solais unleashed!!!

Dawn of Sorrow, I almost finish this game beacause the boss fight is really hard.
I am going to get the next Castlevania game, Order of ElcesXXXX.
And I am waiting for the movie too!

(above) Beautiful game over scene.

Conclusion, Castlevania is fun.
